Throttle return problems
I just replaced the throttle cables on my buddies f3. With the whole assembly off the bar it'll snap back no problem perfectly. But on the bar it really takes a noticable amount of force to open or close it. I can see it's bent but so is the other side so I assume it's supposed to be like that. The bike was backed into and fell on it's throttle side. Is there a chance it got bent out of shape and that's what's causing it to not open/close properly?
I'm not quite sure what you mean by check both sides of the grips? Like pull the left bar and compare? I forgot to add, the bike was hit by a car and tipped in a parking spot on the throttle side.
Assuming the cables are adjust correctly, make sure the bar and the tube are clear or nasty old grease. When you're done cleaning, use some white grease.
Just a note from personal experience. I've used the Bel-Ray water proof grease on the bar and it was too heavy. When I released the throttle, it would slowly return. Once I cleaned it and used white grease, the throttle would snap.

Are the cables routed correctly? I know on my bike even if the two throttle cable are resting on each other, my throttle tube will slowly reset when released. so I would start there before ripping into anything
The only way they aren't correct would be if maybe they're twisted. I listerally had all 4 cables (new and old) in the same spot at once to make sure of that. I'm gonna have to try to clean it then, I don't want to tell my buddy to order new parts if he doesn't have to. I just don't think it's dirty because it would have done that before.
