Need some help, folks. Need a picture of how the tail light bracket on a 97-98 F3 mounts to the frame. If anyone has some pics of their machine uncowled that shows this bracket it would be a huge help. Pics with fender eliminator even better...

the service manual calls this tail light bracket a "seat stay" but it clearly holds the tail light on as well.

 

This is about as good as I can get from my rebuild, hope it helps.

And, I assume the tail light bracket mounts to the fender eliminator when equipped.
