Default swing arm

any one know a good place to get a extended arm for a 98 f3

try ebay. You may be paying a premium for it though. Also look into a ride height adjustment dog-bone. Once you extend the arm, you're going to alter the ride height too. You many need a chain tensioner to counter any slack on the chain too.

thanks for your help. if i extended it will it lower the bike or just make it sit wierd

it will make the bike sit lower. I would recommend a F4i shock they are taller than the F3 shocks. i hear the bolt right up if i recall correctly. i was also thinking of entending my bike. they have aluminum bolt on extensions on ebay for about $200. then you need to extend your brake line out, and get a longer chain.

Still somewhat new to bikes, and I'm just curious. What is the purpose of extending the swing arm?

Lots of guys like them for looks. Then some of them use them for drag racing on a track. They help with lauching the bike.

Lauching. its the new cool thing.


Other than drag, they are completely pointless except for looks IMO

I don't know what people use it for, but I personally do not like the way it looks.

I like them. Id like to test drive one. Too expensive and useless to turn mine into one.
