Heya, i've been thinking since i am in the process of fixing up my bike and everything is off of it i might as well throw in a digital console, however i'm not sure where to go, or what would fit it, if i used a F4 console would it fit in place of the stock F3 one? And are there aftermarket digital consoles i could get? Any advice would be appreciated thank you.

 

F4i gauges is the way to go if you are goin digital, you just need a 98-99 cbr 900rr thermo unit, and some time and patience, some male/female connectors, a little bit of wire for a constant power for the clock, and a cluster mount, I made mine out of 1/8 inch plexiglass stacked so there wasnt much flex, i bought 2 12'' by 12''squares was able to make 4 out of them, i would have had extra but slipped on a few of them.

 

Lol you slipped on a few of them? the cluster mount wont be a problem i can actually weld the F3 console mount to fit the F4i one should not be a problem, did not know about that thermo unit though ! thanks the rest should pretty pretty simple. Where did you run the wire to ?

 

its a wire ran from the battery with an inline fuse just due to it having power all the time, i'll post some pics of the process so you know where everythings at
