I bought my f3 a year ago, went through a major hailstorm had to replace all fairing.........shody Chinese crap was all I could afford....but as I'm back on the road on windy days (more than a breeze) it surges bad. To the point I've either gotta run 9k rpm (or more) or have the choke almost half out.......there any ways to combat this? Also the lights in my gauges is very weak, I'm having problems finding either a oem new replacement or an updated display. Any clues where to look?

 

Only on windy days? Hmmm, are the carburetors and the air injection hoses and air cleaner inlet all correct? Mine was surging and stalling. Was an expired bottle of STA-BIL clumping up in the tank clogging the strainer and no fuel could get through.

 

Everything is run correct operating fine as far as i can tell. Nothing in the tank already cleaned it out (first thing i checked).
