Hi guys...i bought a 98' cbr 600 f3 last yr b4 the season ended (i live in canada). i stored it for about 5 months and took it out this past week. it didn't start...so i:
1) took out the battery and charged it
2)emptied the fuel tank
3) changed the spark plugs
i've never done ANY mechanics on bikes or cars, but after i did those three things, i opened the choke and she started like a monster...but after a few minutes when i closed the choke she'd die out (if i closed it under 2000 rpm). i figured it would do that since it had been stored for so long.i then took her for a spin and once again tried closing the choke completely, but again she'd stall. so basically when iset the choke to below 2000rpm; it dies out. any suggestions as to whats wrong???

The idle screw is on the left side of the bike as you sit on it near the fuel tap. Its a little black *** with a screw inside it. You can turn it by hand. Wait til the bike is warm before adjusting it as people end up with stalling problems as you have if they set it when its cold.
Hope this helps.
