First off I want to say that you all have been very helpful already in a number of ways. Even though I haven't posted before I have been able to figure a lot of stuff out just by searching the forum. However, I have not been able to find the answer to my question. I recently bought a 97 F3 and it has a Yoshi canister on it but I don't know how to tell if it's just a slip on or a full exhaust. Is there any way to identify between the two? Thanks.

Usually an aftermarket header will have a name stamped on it, also after market headers appear much smoother where they go from 4-2-1, see the image below. . . (stole the images off e-bay, so thanks to the sellers. ha ha)
