And he's selling it for 2.1k. Is that a good price at all guys?

 

Find out why the motor was rebuilt. For the engine on one of these bikes to blow, it was probably abused or had some other major malfunction. That said, 2.1k seems too high for a bike that needed a rebuilt engine and has a questionable history. Just my feelings.

 

+1, why was the engine rebuilt, who did it?? are they cert.d' to rebuild the bike?

 

Based on your description, I'd walk away. For that kind of money, you're close to '97 and '98 model years.
