Does anyone have a side mounted steering damper on their F3? If so, post some pictures of how you mounted it. I have a side mounted steering damper that mounts to the frame and the fork, but I am not sure how to mount it. How much cutting to the fairing was necessary? Please help![]

 

Are you shure you have a side mounting damper? I thought mine was side mounted, but it fit behind the headlight and bolted to the fairing stay bracket. No fairing mods necissary.

I bought mine used from a friend, but i'm pretty shure it's a Lockhart phillips Traklock damper. Chaparral Motorsports carries them in their catalog but not on the website. You can also find Toby steering dampers on the Lockhart phillips online catalog on page 103. The traklock is a front mount and the Toby is a left side mount.
