hey guys sorry for the delay,
had some finals for college.

ive been trying to find the last piece i need locally
its a Y splitter so i can run dual.

been to about 12 places so far, and been quoted as high as 80.00 for the piece,
so as you can imagine,
not happening so far,
but today i should have more pictures of my progress!

stay tuned

aight so i got the second exhaust and what not,
fabbing up the Y tomorrow and pics coming!

info on the baffles:

2.75 ID, 3.5 OD
8.5 inches long.
the Y line im looking at mocking one from ebay:

Exhaust Y Pipe 2.00 INCH SINGLE TO DUAL EXHAUST CONVERS | eBay

because what i am looking for (2ID, 2.75OD) will require some modding to get the thing air tight.

So... gona dodge the flux for the seal,
and get the sticks with the flux on it, g2g.

Alrighty kids,
the dual came in, so here's the update:

That's the layout I kinda put together.
My dremmel literally caught on fire, so I wasn't able to make all the cuts I wanted.
How the hell does a dremmel catch on fire?

So I got her on the bike:

Like I said, she needs to be tucked in more, and cant right now because I need to make the final cuts, but its pretty close.

Is it wrong that I am constantly checking my email for updates on your project??? Looks good, is that piping permanent or just to get the shape and stuff?

thanks
its more of a trial run, then I take it off after a 100 miles or so and make an exact replica of welded steel.
