Spark plug recomendation?
Hey guys, I'm wanting to change out the spark plugs on my bike for the first time. Does anyone have any favorites I should try out? It's a 95. Oh, and I would also appreciate any input about air filters as well. Thanks!!!
Go with the Denso IUH27 thats the plug Honda ships the 929RR and 954RR with stock, it's the same plug for the 600F3 if you go to Denso's site and look up the 600F3.
Air filter if you want your intake nice and loud but filter as good as the stock filter then go with Uni-Filter part# NU-4124 and use red PJ1 foam filter oil in the spray can, just don't over do oiling it....... or just stick with the stock filter but make sure you never get cought riding in the rain or else the stock paper filter will get messed up and the pores will close up on you.
The foam filter oil will repel the water on a foam filter but the paper filter will absorb moisture.
Don't let anyone talk you in to getting a K&N filter either.
Best place to get the spark plugs is on amazon.com, free shipping and a very reasonable price, mabe the air filter too, just put the part #'s I gave here in the amazon search.

service manual says ngk CR9EH9 or denso U27FER9 for your spark plugs. I have the ngk cause i have always used them in my dirt bikes. for air filter i went with a K&n. works fine. and atieri said, keep it oiled. if you have a slip on or exhuast you will probably want to rejet the carbs after the air filter. you will get a dead spot on the low end. just an fyi.
