you could always try some small engine cleaner. I work at the home depot and we sell this stuff thats supposed to be fuel system cleaner that can be used on any engine and works especially well if your engine is gunked up from old gas. Its like 5 bucks and most auto shops should have something like it.

 

Hey thanks guys for all the great advice. Ya i think the carbs should be cleaned too. Maybe the jets do need to be cleaned. I just dont know if i trust myself to do all that with pulling the carbs....But we will see what happens i guess, maybe ill try running something through the engine.

I have a number for someone in central Florida who will do ur carbs for 200-250. He'll even go out to ur place and do it there if ppossible. WHAT WHAT?!?!?! LOL
