Default Slight flat spot

I have noticed a slight flat spot in 5th gear when flat out at about 13 000rpm, if I change up to 6th it will then carry on accelerating faster, a friend of mine who is very clued up with bikes seems to think this might be due to the aftermarket exhaust even though it is only a slip on - any other ideas, I have only ever had the scorpion fitted so do not know what it was like before.
Its not an issue I was just interested in why it happens - it might just be a characteristic of my engine- anyways the bike is doing over 140mph when it goes a bit flat.

Cheers

Mike

Mine has still got the original jetting, I might look at getting it done, is there anything else that you need to get done to compliment the jetting?

Weird.

Mine tops at 154 WOT in 6th gear. About 12,500RPM's. What's your setup?

I have had mine up to 150 and it was still pulling I have not found a road long enough where there are no police to get it max'd out.
