Thanks man, I agree on the bulky look of the styles I found on line. Did a search on here and found the Targa one but thought it looked crap so I made my own to stick with the shape of the bike. Thanks to everyone else for the positive comments.

Regarding the Targa... I have a Targa rear seat cowl. What many don't know is that the Targa has fitting adjustments to bring it down close against the tail cowl. If fitted properly, it looks good & flush...if not, well...like you said. ;-)

 

That turned out great!!!! I am currently modifying stock nose and tail fairings to make track plastics out of them. I like the idea of the single seat. I may have to consider trying that. Great job!!!!!

 

Just got home from work about 20 minutes ago and noticed when I got off the bike that the rear of the cowl lifted about 3/16". Going to add a fibreglass tab that will hook under the front of the rear centre part of the tail. Apart from that problem I'm happy with how it looks and how much better it feels to ride with the different seat.
