Look here www.flickr.com/vallip I just uploaded a pick of themounting bracketI fabricated.
I'll trade you a swingarm license plate bracket for one of those nifty brackets you got there.
I had some swingarm license plate brackets made and i have them powdercoated in black
and silver to match the f3 silver frame.

I'll see if I can shoot a pic of how I hid that shock absorber unit on my f3. I've made a custom shorty similar to that one before I started to see that seller fabricating them and putting them on ebay. At the time I found out he was selling them, they didn't have one for the f3. Anyway, I welded my own custom 'silencer' inside of it to keep a desirablebackpressure level and to resonate some sound waves. It's still plenty loud, but notlike a straight pipe!

I just LOVE that shorty-style exhaust. It looks great and sounds awesome!!

Unfortunately I live in NY, and with the manufacturer stating it outputs roughly 105dB, it is most definitely illegal in my state. I was pulled over once on my little Ninja 500 because the cop thought my Cobra F1 pipes were too loud (and they are well within the limits!). According to the AMA site, NYS laws are:

[ul][*] Muffler - Muffler required; no straight pipes; no removal of baffles; no modification of exhaust system that increases noise beyond exhaust system originally installed. Ref: NYS Vehicle & Traffic Law, Article 9, Section 381[*] Maximum Sound Level - Maximum Allowable A-Weighted Sound Levels at Speed: 35 mph or less, 82 dB(A); over 35 mph, 86 dB(A), measured at, or adjusted to, a distance of fifty feet from the center of the lane in which the motorcycle is traveling. Ref: NYS Vehicle & Traffic Law, Article 10, Section 386.[*] LINK to page of NYS laws.

i think all of that sound crap is bull harleys have extremely loud exhausts from the factory
and if they got pipes they are even louder, but they are left alone. I think sportbikes
get singled out by cops

I realy don't need the license plate holder but if you give me your address I can let you know how much the shipping cost will be, I will only charge you for the fabrication cost for the bracket and the shipping.

I drew the bracket up in autocad and had it water cut.
