Default Seat

Yeah I know, this sounds very dumb... But how do you get the seat off of a 95 f3? I'm new to this

take the side tail fairings off and there should be two bolts holding the seat down. i believe they are 10mm. after you take the bolts out slide the seat back towards the tail and lift up. the front of the seat has a "lip" on it to hold the front down. becareful not to pull too hard on the fairings. they are quite fragile. im pretty careful with mine. Also search for a downloadable manual. its a big help.

Seeing as how this is your first bike i would pick up a battery tender jr if you have extra cash. Should be about 20 bucks or so. It should save you the hassle of pulling the seat and such

Although that wasn't referring to getting the battery out, good idea. I was actually thinking about making a sort of quick release thing that I can access from under the tail. I saw something on Youtube using springs.
