Runs almost normal small flicker in revs probs due to pain in the system but other than that fine in neutral but when in gear will die kick stand is up and s light is off. Runs crap up to 7k rpm then bolts off. Thought it was all to do with paint in fuel at first but obviously not. It went hedgeways 6 months ago so may be a hidden problem since then as not ridden it since till wednesday

 

You need to do a thorough job of cleaning your carburetors. Pay close attention to the slow jet passageways. If you think that small bits of paint might have gotten into the carburetor, it may be impossible to clean. Depending on the type of paint, maybe soaking in paint thinner or some other type of solvent. Naturally the carburetors would need to be completely dissasembled because any "O" rings or non metalic parts will be damaged by the solvents. You can use compressed air to help clear them out.
