Default Neutral between 5th and 6th?

This has happened to me twice, both times I was shifting around maybe 5-7k, so it's not like I was beating the hell out of it.
I bought my bike used with 1500miles. The rest of the time the tranny feels fine. Does this happen to anyone else?
Thanks,
Jon

yea its happend to me a few times too! i figured out how to avoid it... it does it too me when i shift at really low rpms. so i just let the engine rev a few thousand rpms higher then what the tac was at when i pulled the clutch in.. it doesnt do it to me anymore.... i know how you feel too when it doest that[:@]and you gota put it back in gear... it makes me cringe....

i've never hit the 5th to 6th false nuetral or missed any other gear yet on my 06'. i have hit nuetral a few times when i'm lazy shifting from first to second.[:@] is that pretty common for the F4i?

well the only bike it hasnt gone in to nuetral between 5th and 6th iv riddin was my pop's 1995 Triumph Daytona Super 3... and that has an engine designed by cosworth... it also has a sequetial gear box for those of you out there that dont know what that means.. it means you dont have to use the clutch after 2nd gear! it hasnt on your bike because your bike is almost new... but once you put the miles on it, it most likely will..

yes, it is a normal occurance to be lazy shifting into 2nd and accidentally slip into neutral. nothing bad about it...it happens to all of us...anyone who says it doesnt happen to them is lying...lol...they just dont want to admit it
