So?

How can I do it? Cut the levers? Spend $500 for some friggin metal pieces that have holes and crap that they call rearsets?
So many choices....I guess I'll start another rearset thread. [&o]

Dude, how short are your feet?

Remember these bikes are made for 130lb japanese guys.

Size 12 shoes. I shift with the part where your laces are, not the toe. It feels much more solid and doesn't upset the bike with firm shifting.

size 12? mang...you just have to rework that lever...i don't know of any that brings the lever closer to your feet. if anything, with such big feet you should get a VFR or blackbird lever and throw that on the F4i and bust reverse shift patter...it'll guarantee solid up shifts mang!

+1

I shift with my toes. Better feel especially with my Sidi's on.

Get a Blackbird lever. It will take a couple of minutes to swap it out and a couple of weeks to get used to, but I bet it will help you out a ton. Just be careful on downshifts.

I Think The Trannys on The F4i suck. I cant get over the first gear clunk from neutral and if you dont down shift coming to a stop It gets lost in la la land. Im going to use synthetic oil on my next oil change. I have 1200 miles now I changed it at 400 mi. (reg. oil) and will change oil soon at 1500 mi. just to get the good stuff in there. I here it should help.

kinna, but nowhere near as easy.

Again you have to remember, the gearbox in the F4i was DESIGNED for racing. I don't know of many passenger cars for under $90K that can boast that.

Keep doing clutchless shifts on a non-dog gearbox in a car and wave bye-bye to your tranny.
