rev counter face

Default rev counter face
has anyone swapped the face on a rev counter as i bought a set of clocks from a 96 and mine being a 98 as white face compared to the black one on a 96 does the needle unscrew or prise off any help welcomed

as anyone tackled replacing tacho face ?tried to prise needle off old one and spring came out do not want try try on replacement and mess that one up will leave well alone if need to
