Default rectifier/regulator. cheapest option?

hey guys,

i know this has been done to death but from searching i cant find any advice on where/what to buy when replacing this unit,

mine it a wee bit melted and now bike is dead.... as expected,

there are loads on ebay, some just say cbr 600/900 etc and some say specific years and models eg fv or 98.

mine is a 98 model,

is this thing specific per bike?
i need a plug and play easy option?

thanks

Hey Zach,

I think ive read ebay and the suzuki gsxr is a great choice, usually around 20 dollars i believe. If you read through the R/R post a bit down the page there are more specifics on what you should look for when buying one as well.

Good Luck,

Blake

Just get one off Ebay. There are plenty available. Just make sure it has 5 wires, not 7. Ride safely.
