rear brake help
I was riding today and my rear brake went out, when I applied it there was no brake and the lever went all the way down. When I pulled over the clip that holds the line to the frame was gone and the rear tire cut a slice into the line. There was fluid all over the tire and underside of the bike. Thankfully I made it to my destination and left the bike in my buddies garage.
I'm wondering what I am looking at to replace the line. I've never touched brakes either on a car or a bike, but taking it to a shop probably isn't possible right now, for financial reasons. What is involved in doing this myself, and what would I need? Obviously a new brake line, and a brake bleeding kit?
Any advice or direction on this one would be great, and a big thanks in advance!

Get a new line, 4 crush washers, and new brake fluid. Unbolt the line on each end and replace it with the new seals. Bleed the system. Done.
Clean all that fluid that's all over everything. Brake fluid does a number on metal, paint, and plastic. Not to mention how slippery it is on a tire....
