my fan stopped working. i checked the fuse and the connection. both are fine. I dont really have a problem with this other than the bike runs hot during in-town driving because of traffic. Any ideas on how to fix this without getting a new one?

i had a similar problem. two possibilities that aren't hard to check. there is a switch in the lower left side of the radiator that activates the fan. if it's not working then obviously that will do it. you can connect a 12v lead to the fan and see if it fires up, then it could be the switch. as simple as it sounds check the coolant level. once my was too low for the switch to read the temp. i filled it and was fine. keep us posted.
