...So i need a new front tire i have a 97 F3, the oem tire is a Bridgestone Battlax 120/60ZR/17 BT56F, now i found a brand new tire on ebay, anyway its the same exact tire except its a BT50F instead of BT56....the BT50F came oem on the 95-96 F3 so my question is, is there any differences at all and will i be ok with this tire? what are the spec differences? i think its the same damn tire, its obviously the same dimensions....cosmetically the tred is all i can tell that is different, i tink the 56 is the newer version of the 50 but id like to get more feedback if possible, thanks

 

Its probably damn close to the same. Maybe the difference is that one is a hard compound and one is a medium or soft. Something like that. Actually, most of the better tires has wicked lookin tread. I used to have the same Battlax tires on my bike. Soft compound. They were sweet. Now I have Dunlop Sportmax, Soft compounds on there.
