Default quick release seat?

alright im kinda new to the 97 -98 cbr 600s, i road a katana for the last year, and i absolutely love the way the f3 handles, now i was just wondering, i already know that the f3 has 2 bolts that hold the seat on, but is there a way to make a quick release system like on the newer cbrs, and other bikes, because i really hate when my battery dies and im forced to take the rear fairings off, remove the bolts, charge the battery, then put the seat back on, put the bolts in, and try to finagle the damn fairings back into place, lol well thats enough of my rantin, if anyone has any answers for that please let me know, thanks

I've seen a guy on YouTube that made a simple release.

You could, also, get yourself a battery tender and setup a quick disconnect system. Then you won't need to take the seat off at all.

+1. That's what I have hooked up. Works like a charm.

I have the same. And an in-line fuseholder in the + wire just in case it grounds out to the frame while being tucked

i just leave the bolts out of my seat...clips hold it in pretty well. i just grab the back of the seat and push forward and pull up...still requires a little force but nowhere near as much a pain in the *** as taking the fairings off
