Has anyone here ever tried installing a DZUS quick release kit on their 929 ? I know they don't make them specifically for the 929, but I would like to try. Anyone have any experience with these?

 

Where would you use them on your bike and why???

 

They replace all the stock bolts on your fairings. Simply insert and turn the D ring. Makes stripping your bodywork extremely fast and efficient during track days. And lets face it, it also looks cool as hell!

 

I guess they're smaller than what the pictures depict...

 

You may have to modify some of the mounting points to allow for the larger receptacle the dzus fasteners use. I'm not sure you could use them in all locations, such asthe ram air duct covers. I use them on aircraft and they are very handy for removing panels quickly. I've thought about them more for a quad than the bike, I just don't take off my panels on the bike that often.

 

i have them on my dirtbike and i like them pretty good

 

i know of one problem you will face, people like to steal them off other peoples bikes.
