Put tank back on and won't start... another starting question >:0
So I bought a 91 F2, with a 98 motor, with I believe the 637cc weisco kit (Was told this, but haven't seen the proof). It also has 94 or newer suspension and a bunch of odd year parts. So I am not sure exactly what year everything is, but since it's an F3 motor I'll post this here. The bike ran and started easily in the past. The previous owner then took the tank off, and ran it without a tank to get all the fuel out of the carbs, as he was planning to store it for winter. I bought it, hooked up the tank, and it just turns over, never attempts to start. So, since I know it ran just fine before it was run dry, I figure I hooked the tank up wrong, or have a pinched line.
I hooked the petcock ->Fuel Filter -> Fuel Pump -> Carbs
Then the tank two breather lines, I just let hang down to the bottom of the bike.
Also the fuel pump is not mounted right now, just kind of haning there, is there a certain way it should be oriented?
I haven't had time to pull it all apart again to check the plugs, but I plan on checking it out this weekend, and hopefully finding out if I have a fuel delivery problem.
Any Ideas as to what I can check?
