Default Project A/f gauge-

For a while i've been planning on putting an air/fuel gauge on my f3 so that I could monitor the ratio at idle, and cruising and such. Last week I installed the gauge and oxygen sensor on the bike after some hours of work.

I have noticed that:
- warm-up w/choke is up to 12.5:1
- idle is usually 12.0:1 - 14.5:1
- cruising (4-6k RPMs) is usually 15.0:1 - 19.0:1

This is with stock jetting, paper air filter, and custom shorty exhaust.

Cell phone shots for now:

So it's like a meter that measures your mpg @ diff speeds & rpm's? Nicely done btw!

You could derive how high/low the MPG is approximately, based on how the mixture is at given RPMs and such.

Sweet! Have you ever thought of putting just a regular fuel gauge on there also? Kinda annoying not having one (for me at least).. My 250 Ninja is the same way.. Any clue why they didn't put a gas gauge on them?

Gauge is off Ebay but not just any cheap one. I opted for the one with the lean/rich/stoich readout as well as the numeric ratio. The brand of this one is "swoosh."

Sensor kit is an AUTO METER kit that came with o2 sensor, wiring, bung, etc. I forgot the part number for the kit but was about 109$ on ebay (narrow band)- 3 wire sensor. [12v heater, ground, 0.1-0.9v signal].
