I got ready to leave for work went to start my bike up, and it turned over maybe 3times then just locked up. WTF. I don’t think it’s vapor lock because It’s not even turning over you can hit the starter, and you hear the fuel pump sending gas to the carbs but the engine doesn’t even try to turn over? Any ideas???
the fuel pump only sends fuel once the motor is turning over. its not like a car when you first turn the key and the fuel pump primes the engine. are you sure you heard something? how would you describe the noise? and i agree with kilegoretrout.... i dont understand what waiting would do if it all of the sudden decides it doesnt wanna turn over......
