Petcock issues
Yep. One at bottom (under where the front part of the seat usually slides) and one up at the top. Then you disconnect your hoses. Might ought to have a small bucket & some rags for the left over fuel that will drain out of the line.
The one at the top looks like it's going to be a pain to get out bc it looks like there isn't enough room to do anything. I will be getting this done after work today though. I can't wait to get off.
it's not as hard as it looks, these bikes are quite simple to service. When I was in the market to purchase a bike, a lot of my buddies that ride hondas frequently, suggested I check out the f3. I find that it's a bit quicker then their f4's. Not sure why.
I got it done in roughly an hour. Took me so long bc I was making sure I didn't eff anything up. It seems to be running better, although I haven't had a chance to open her up due to rain. So, yeah...great weather while my bike is down and once I get her back up...crappy weather rolls right on in
Thanks for the help guys. I really appreciate it. I will definitely let you know how the bike is doing once I am able to ride it for an extended period of time....instead of up and down the neighborhood

So the bike is holding up quite nicely. On occassion it won't start right up, idky but it's only happned a couple times. I kind of have to play with the choke and the throttle at the same time, even if I have only left it sitting for about an hour or so (if it's even been that long). My buddies r6 has been doing the same thing so I don't feel as worried since his bike is newer, but it still makes me wonder what in the hell is going on. It can't be coincidence. Oh and was the black piece that helps you turn the petcock on, off or to reserve, supposed to come off the old one? I couldn't get it off and haven't bothered trying to figure anything out for it bc I can turn it just as easily without it.
