How do you ride without a right foot peg? And it's just like a puddy. It would come in a tube like toothpaste does. You just squeeze it out and apply it to the petcock.

The previous owner said he had ordered a replacement peg but it still hasn't come in so I just rest my foot on the exhaust. It doesn't get super hot or anything and I don't stand on it, I just let my foot chill there I know man...it's hella ghetto!!

Alright so I applied some sealant and it seems to have taken care of the problem somewhat. I didn't put on enough so it's still dribbling a bit but not leaking as bad as before. So I know that has to be replaced soon, but I'm going to apply a some more in a little bit, but this time I will use a brush to get up underneath it better.

I just wish I could figure out why it keeps stalling when I roll off the throttle completely and let it idle???? If I apply some throttle it will keep running but as soon as I come off it completely, it dies.

How low can you get the RPM's before it dies? It may be as simple as the idle being set too low.

That's true..Didn't think of that! There is a little idle adjust screw on the left side of your bike (circled in red on the pic).. Here is a pic below. Just adjust it which ever way makes your engine idle speed up.

I'm not sure how low the rpms get bc I don't have a tach to look at, but by ear it sounds like it could be set WAY too low. I will try adjusting it.

turn it CLOCKWISE 1/4 turn at a time to raise the idle.

Front brake fluid looks dark in the photo..

I played with the idle adjuster screw and that took care of the stalling problem. The bike is still peppy but it doesn't "sound" as beefy as it did before the issues came about, and I can tell it's not running the same either...would this be due to the faulty petcock, or should I be checking something else out as well? I will check out the brake fluid also. Thanks for the help guys. I really appreciate it.

I'd ask you what you're idle is set at now, but you don't have a tach or any gauges for that matter.. lol

Manual suggests 1200 give or take 100 rpm for idle. Don't suppose you have any way of seeing where you're sitting though..
