Make sure your rubber hoses have unrestricted flow. The big one on right side of bike can sometimes get pinched by fairings. Youd be surprised what a little restriction can do on those hoses

Black smoke or white smoke?
Black smoke is oil or unburned fuel.
White smoke is coolant.

The water pump impeller could be broke but i had the same issue with a caddillac exhaust gasses heat up coolant and overheat within minutes.test the coolant and pull water pump!!!

I also have some overheating problem. It happens on hot days and usually on stop and go traffic, when the bike stand still.
Then, when I roll the temp goes down. It's like the bike is cooling with the wind.

Yes I can hear it, and when it's running, I can feel all the heat blowing on my legs.

when i was testing the fan on my crashed f3 build..it took 45 mins of the bike idling in the florida sun to reach the 212 degrees to turn the fan on..so you definitely have some issues

have you attempted any of the suggested items? coolant sniffer? checking the water pump? those are more of the area of what is going on..sorry to tell you, but this isnt going to be a matter of simply replenishing your coolant reservoir..

when you take the coolant cap off, does it look clean? is there any signs of brown muck? if there is, your radiator could be clogged shut or restricting the flow

Thanks, i'll check this out. In fact, it never got me into trouble yet. I usually ride on long routes, almost never in the city.

How high is the temp getting? Are you sure it's overheating? Sounds like a dumb question but it was startling to me at first when I first saw my temp gauge reach the higher side, my fan comes on when my temp is about 2/3 the way to hot, depending on the temp outside but I was assured that was normal, never goes above that, is your gauge going higher then that?

The gauge went to around 2/3 - 3/4 .

It may be normal then... it is my first bike so everything going above halfway is overheating from my "car" point of view . I supposed that it was the same with a bike. Thanks for the hint, I'll try to see if it goes above that.
