dead on respose
+1 to dragons comment, had a car do this, gasket went between the coolant lines and the cylinder, hot exhaust from the compression stroke entered the coolant and started to boil it within minutes, no leaks or mixing with oil, auto parts store will sell you a tester to test your coolant for exhaust gases, dead giveaway for head gasket, best of luck

when i was testing the fan on my crashed f3 build..it took 45 mins of the bike idling in the florida sun to reach the 212 degrees to turn the fan on..so you definitely have some issues
have you attempted any of the suggested items? coolant sniffer? checking the water pump? those are more of the area of what is going on..sorry to tell you, but this isnt going to be a matter of simply replenishing your coolant reservoir..
when you take the coolant cap off, does it look clean? is there any signs of brown muck? if there is, your radiator could be clogged shut or restricting the flow

How high is the temp getting? Are you sure it's overheating? Sounds like a dumb question but it was startling to me at first when I first saw my temp gauge reach the higher side, my fan comes on when my temp is about 2/3 the way to hot, depending on the temp outside but I was assured that was normal, never goes above that, is your gauge going higher then that?

It may be normal then... it is my first bike so everything going above halfway is overheating from my "car" point of view . I supposed that it was the same with a bike. Thanks for the hint, I'll try to see if it goes above that.
