Default Only one turn signal will work????

Hey guys I bought my 96 F3 about a week ago in a non running state, Well I managed to get it running and put back together enough to ride. Now problem I am having is only left turn signals work. When I first got bike the right front running light would work but not signal. Left work fine as turn signals but no front running light. bike does have aftermarket flush mounts in front and rear. Fronts are 3 wire. At one point right turn signals worked for very little bit noiw no running or turn signals on that side front or rear. I took switch completely apart and cleaned up contacts but still nothing on the right side. Need to get this fixed so I dont get pulled for not having riight signals.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. THX

Did you check to see if it might be something easy like a burned out filament in the bulb? Swap the bulbs with the other side that's working and see if the problem follows the bulb. Otherwise, use a multimeter and start checking to see where the +12V ends when the signals are switched on.

1st thing I think I am gonna do is re-wireall the signals. Previous owner ran a wire from front signals to back on each side instead of just hooking them to factory pigtail.

Well I did a little re-wire. Now I do have Turn signals on both sides of bike front and back. But right side flash very quickly and the left way slower. No running lights in the front though. But I do know bulb on the right front needs repaced as only turn signal filament is good. New bulbs will be he tomorrow so we will see if that fixes anything.

The fast flashing rate usually means that one of the signals isn't flashing and the computer is warning you that something is burned out. It senses a lower resistance, which causes it to flash like that. However, you said that both front and rear are flashing.

Yes they are. But as I said right front for sure has filament for running light burned out. Would that cause it.
