Oil on tire?
so i was out riding this evening, was at a stop sign, turned left to head home and my rear tire slid out like crazy, luckily enough i was able to catch the bike and kept riding. got home and noticed oil on my rear tire, none on the front. i wiped it all off then took my car out to the spot where i turned and the road leading to it, didnt see any oil spills.
decided to take a quick look around the oil pan and didnt really see anything out of the norm, but im going to take off the tail and side fairings to get a better look tomorrow.
has any ever had an issue like this or have an idea of where i should look?
also, i changed oil a couple weeks ago and accidentally over filled it a little, would this have anything to do with it?

I would think the drainbolt might be a problem. I also had a situation where my dipstick/filler cap was not screwed in and was quite loose. THis did not dump oil on my rear tire; but it is something to check. Other than that and checking for any seepage around gaskets, I don't know what to tell you.

well today i made sure the drain bolt, as well as the oil pan bolts, and they were all good. the only thing i noticed was that below the front sprocket cover was dirty/greasy, but didnt look like any of it was "fresh" oil. could find any spot where it looked like oil was leaking out.
is there any vent tube for the motor itself?
thats really all i can think of and would make sense since i did over fill the oil a bit on my last change.

I had a similar incident and it was because the o-ring for the ignition cover had take a dump. Kind of funny to think how a $4 part can fornicate ya.
Look around the seam of the case halves. Make sure they haven't started leaking. Did you pull of your lower plastics? If not, I would remove them so you can get a good look around the engine.
