Default Oil leak from Pulser Cover

Just got my new motor in and it runs like a champ. The only thing is that there is a small oil leak from the pulser cover. The guy before me put in an ignition advance so I was wondering if it could just be a gasket. Is this a common place for an oil leak Thanks.

Not a common place for a leak, but it sure could be something as simple as a gasket. I could even just be a bolt that's not torqued down enough. Try tightening it up and see if that takes care of it.

Hard for anyone to say without looking. Visually inspect for a crack. If he took the cover off there's a chance he used silicone instead of a paper gasket, which is fine but its easy to get a small leak in the material when manuvering the cover into space.

Oh by the way johnnyx, sorry for a bit off topic but I love the LED Streetglow lighting thing you did. I really want to do it to mine, I just don't know what color to go with. Very cool looking man
