Default oil filter and exhaust issues

I am running a Vance & Hines exhaust on my 97 f3 and have to pull it to get the filter off. I was wondering if there is a kit that off sets the filter, so it has room to clear the pipes.

Crap! I had a typo of 07! It is an 97!

My wifes 97 F3 has the full V&H exhaust on it. We don't have to remove it to replace the oil filter. We use the Puralator PureONE PL14612. There is a slightly longer filter the PL14610 that I use on my 94 1000F. It won't fit my F3 becasue I would have to do as you're doing and remove the exhaust. The PL14612 is the size called for on both the F3 and 1000F, but I use the PL14610 on the 1000F because it's a little taller and has more filter material in it. And, there's room to install it without having to remove the exhaust and enough clearance after it's installed so it doesn't overheat.

What filter are you using ?

Not sure on the filter#. It appears to be a factory filter. I like your oil catch tray!

Knowing the guy I bought it from he took the exhaust off so he didn't get oil on it!

I will find out this weekend what filter is on it. Changing oil!

Thanks, I kinda like it too. It's 2" angle aluminum from Home Depot. I just cut a 12" piece from it. It works pretty well.

I really don't do any wrestling with it. I tip the end of it up to drain it as much as possible, then that tiped up end rotates towards me and out it comes.
