Oh it started out so easy......
Hang on a tick yall. His r/r has obviously been replaced already. The damaged connector may be leftover from when the original went out. I've got the same burnt pin on mine but testing the r/r comes back good and I don't have a charging problem. So I'm pretty sure mine was replaced in the past.
If you haven't had any charging issues, you may not need a new one. Grab the service manual and a voltmeter. There's a diagnostic routine in it that'll let you check the charging system. If mine ever went out I have plans to go aftermarket new. Electrosport sells direct plugin aftermarket r/r for all our bikes. Along with replacement OEM connectors

Well the only really reason I found it was because the bike won't start after I replaced the battery after sitting all winter.
That's almost certainly a carburetor issue. Is it cranking? Do you get spark?
LOL How do I clean the carbs? Whats that tail light look like and why is it better then my stock one?
Hit up Radio Shack / Pepboys / Autozone and get some female quick connects. Crimp them on the wires and hook up your existing r/r. Then test it with the voltmeter.
If I keep it on the battery charger it will start right up. Its like it won't keep a charge.
One more thing: bike doesn't charge the battery at idle. You need to get the rpms up to 3.2k-4k before the stator produces any significant voltage. If you're saying it wont hold a charge idling in the garage, that's normal
