My 1996 F3, now at 6,1xx miles.
Not planning on modding her a whole lot, considering the great condition and low mileage she has.
Short term, I have some things to take care of first.
-I'm going to polish out the lower fork legs (down to the aluminum) since the paint got sandblasted off the fronts of the tubes from all the sand on the roads around here, then look at powder coating them whenever the inevitible fork rebuild comes along. Also lots of polishing of rear sets, passenger pegs and other aluminum bits that corroded a bit.
-Some black touchup paint for the chipped/corroded spots on the wheels until the next tire change, where I'll get them painted or powdercoated.
-Also thinking about making a black vinyl decal to go on the vertical piece in the side access panels, I think it might make it look a bit better than the plain white from the factory, and make the black stripe look like it continues across the panel.
-Some sort of fenderectomy, to get it looking a bit tidier back there.
-I'll probably upgrade the muffler, but want something with a mellow sound, not obnoxiously loud.

I've been trying to keep my gal stock... or at least looking stock. I've upgraded the shock and forks to gold valves. Had to install those myself because the stealership wanted my first born. I've got a stage 1 factory jet kit with a factory ignition advancer. I've also did a conversion to an R1 RR for the purpose of doing away with the typical RR issues. She is well over 50K now, but thought I would share the moment when I rolled over to 50K.
