Default Noise in clutch area HELP!

Hey I got my new bike, It's clean but it has a rattling noise in the clutch area, here's the story. Owner said he went to down shift and rattling noise started and clutch started slipping. He installed new clutches and a bearing. you can put the bike in all gears but will not move. When you rev it up there is a loud rattle/grinding sound comming from behind clutch cover. I am going to tear it down in the morning and inspect it, but anyone have any ideas. Of what I'm looking for, or maybe had this problem before. I got the bike really cheap but it is very clean. I have a motor located and ready for purchase if necc. But think I can save this one. Starts and runs very well. Thanks for any input.

Sounds like he didn't do a very good job does it?. I think he's just noodled the install some wheres & the plates are binding, or he stuffed the springs. I'd say (about 95% chance) that its just not installed correctly, rather than a failed componant. But thats going to make SFA to you, cos your still going to have to pull it down (or pay someone at the shop) to find out either way.

Took the clucth assembly apart looks like it was set up wrong. I downloaded the manual, and I set it up to spec. Get some oil in the morning, I should be able to go for a sunday ride. Man I am so happy, so far I am in it 10.00 for manual and 10.00 for oil.

I bought it for 500.00, So I had planned on spending a 1000.00 to fix it. I have a line on a complete motor for 800.00 and the bike is clean so I would have had a nice first bike for 1300.00 add another 200.00 for misc. But it turned out better. We will see today. On my way to get some oil and stuff. Let you know
