was that filter specifically for your bike? i know you were saying that you wanted to get the bike as close to oem as possible to figure out your problem. Unless you dont have a honda shop, or you cant get to one, I'd get that one to hold you over.

I ordered mine online. Just look up the part# and google it.

I have a set of 4 balancing gauges with all hoses and valves that I only used once, and it worked GREAT. PM if you want it, I'll sell it for for $55 shipped.

*mutter* $4.27

Hit 8k RPM tonight, shifting 1-3. She's still stuttering. And I'm waiting for traffic to die do to hop on the freeway for a test. But she did hit 8k RPM, which she's never done. All because of $4.27/

Come on... Guess. Just give it a guess

edit
yah, the hesitation is still there. It's better, which has me thinkin it's definitely fuel related. If I get off early enough tomorrow, I'll pull the plugs and see what's going on in there. Jet kit arrives on Mon

Yup. But got 2 new questions. I pulled the petcock out to check that filter but didn't find it. Looking in the tank I ssee a screen on a pipe but dunno how to get it out to clean. Also looks like some slight rust in the tank. Spots here and there. Pro clean, diy (how?) or ignore?

There's not a tank filter on your bike aside from the screen. That doesn't really come out.

If you've got rust in the tank, get a new tank. You'll never be able to stop it, and those little flakes of rust fall off, clog up your filter, and get stuck in your screen, pump, lines, jets, etc etc etc and God forbid, cylinders.
