Exclamation Need help: Fork <-> Rotor clearance

Was putting the bike back together and now the front right fork is rubbing on the brake rotor. The front right wheel won't turn like it is.

And I do have the spacers on the correct sides (after getting them wrong once). Someone mentioned something about aligning the forks when I searched the forum. But they never went into any detail

Also, everything has indicated the front axle should simply slide in and out. Mine doesn't but it is straight and level. Rolls easily and cleanly on a flat surface.

If you didn't have this problem before, your spacers aren't right. You might have them in backwards. As always, get a Haynes manual for your ride.

Make sure your forks are level.

You probably overlooked something.

+1. You've got a parallel (up,down) leveling issue, not perpendicular (front,back).

Default Thanks guys

Thanks for the help and replies guys. However its not a backwards tire, bent forks, forks out of alignment or anything like that near as I can tell. The spacers are identical

I went back out and took it all off again. When I rechecked the spacers, they are the exact same size.

I have no clue how the hell the wheel spun before I took off the tire. Or how the hell the PO rode anywhere on it. Super lucky move on my part: while I'm sitting there scratching my head going "WTFH???" USPS pulls up to the driveway and hands me an axle WITH spacers I bought off Ebay last week
