I have a new Vortex 520-15 tooth front sprocket(nickel-chrome finish)$25 shipped(u.s.). Your better off staying stock in front and go +4 in the rear(speedo reasons). Let me know bro.

will i lose a lot of top end speed with that setup?? i just want it to be easier to pop it up in second gear ...and i heard that on these older bikes the speedo goes off of the front tire?? is that not the case?

the speedo is ran off the front on the earlier f2 bikes. the speed sensor on the f3 is on the engine. you will throw off your speedo either way. i had ordered the 520 rk with -1 front stock rear for like 150 at my local shop. otherwise just look for the quick acceleration kit online. best to get as a whole kit. with the different sprocket sizes the oem chain length may not work.

top end... err ya, instead of going 160, you'd only be able to do 155 ish
not the f3, there is no speedo cable on these babies, its all digital.

x-ring chains are the best, get a combo deal for 150, maybe a tad more.

is there any significant difference with just a -1 in the front? or do you think it would be better to just go -1/+2?
