More pics, I am building my street fighter right now, I am curious if you are going to get any gauges? Did you have to cut your wiring harness down and solder it back together?

i plan on just running an oil pressure gauge and light and temp gauge. i will add a tach later if i run across one for the cheapness, motorcycle tachs that go over 10k rpm are kinda pricey. might add a neutral light and maybe a hi/low beam light too.

i will be shortening the wiring harness up front as most of the wires that went to the gauge cluster were mangled when the bike that donated the engine was run into the back of a truck at around 50 or 60 mph.

this thing started out as a spare parts collection for what was supposed to be my track bike(the f3 in the background). but i haven't made it to the track yet and i wanted something that had the riding position of my klr650 but with a lot more acceleration and top end.

when it comes to over priced body work, zip ties are awesome. the bars are pro taper Windham rm mids, i scored them on ebay nip w/grips for $20.

$20! Damn I gotta watch that place more often. So many to choose from it’s hard to narrow it down on a daily/weekly basis

i just set up a search for pro taper and a search for renthal, ended up with these in about a month.

so, if i told you i have around $1000 in what is about to be a running bike, what would you say? most everything on the bike is new and i bought on ebay. i was kind of addicted to buying spare parts when i found them for a good deal and ended up with another bike.

As long as it works right? A lot of people aren't into the hard work that it takes to make something work cheap, but if you have the time and wrenches you can't go wrong!
