Default To many carb hoses.

I am building an off road buggy with a cbr600. I bought a bike that had had a few parts striped off of it, but was complete enough for my purposes. When I took the engine out of the frame, like a dummy, i did not take any pics or right stuff down, so I have all these hoses on the carbs that I don't know where to attach them too.

I have taken pictures of the front and back of the carbs and circled each or the hoses in a different color.
I know that the green hose goes to the airbox.
I know that the yellow hose is the fuel line.

The blue hoses and the red hoses I have no idea. Vacuum lines?

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks guys

Hey there. The red circles represent coolant lines. Coolant is routed through the carb casings then back into radiator.

You would be better off using them as they help keep the carbs at the intended temperature. But it won't hurt anything to try and not use them.

Where do you live?

Would you be in danger of carb freezing in winter?

I live in Kentucky. Near Frankfort.

What about the blue lines? Back to the airbox? Are they just breather lines for when the dipframs on the needles move?

Yes, they are part of the overall air delivery system. I know that sounds overly fancy but there is a fairly elaborate design for air on these bikes. People have deleted it and always have to deal with re-tuning the carbs

How much of the air intake system are you going to be using? How much air-flow the airbox and carburetors are able to sense while it's moving is going to impact how the engine runs. Hamlin6 is right, how the hoses route is important. It's not just a matter of connecting to the airbox.
