Main Kickstand
Does anyone have the kickstand with two legs that lifs the rear up off the ground.
It is listed on this OEM Honda parts site. i would rather have this then the stock
single leg stand. If i got this stand would i need all of the stuff to mount it or
does it replace the single leg stand. and if it does not where does it mount at?

It does not replace the sidestand.
My bike had one, but I took it off because it was twisted.
Can't remember right now how it's fixed to the bike, sorry.
I'll take some pics tomorrow, if nobody beats me to it.

I put it on my wife's F3 last year for xmas (is that a great gift or what). All the F3's have the bracket at the bottom of the frame where the main stand attaches to, it just isn't stock. You have to purchase the main stand, the spring and other misc parts. The only caviat is if you've put on an aftermarket exhaust (slip-on) on your bike. The part of the bike that the stand stops against when it's in the up position is attached to the stock exhaust. Otherwise it goes up high enough to rub against the chain and that's not good. The center stand does make it nice for lubricating the chain as well as wheel maintenance.
Always thought it was weird you guys never had the Centre stand (yep, that's wot their called). Standard on all of em, up to when they went to the RR model (me thinks). Now their trying to flog em off as an optional extra on a lot of bikes (not just Honda). I mean how the f**k are you supposed to lube your chain, or remove wheels when you need to replace tyres, like 20 click's passed the out the back to buggery (20 miles passed the last petrol station).
I know they save weight (not much), but their a criteria for when I look at a bike to buy for sure.
Funnily enough, years ago, side stands where the optional extra.

Gee, I bought one of these stands, complete with ALL reguired mounting parts. It was supposed to go on my wife`s 98 Smokin Joes, but, I never got around to it. It was used, but BARELY used from eBay. I will sell it for what I paid for it ($93)plus the shipping costs, of course. R.B.
