Default F3 main fuse

My bike was stolen and they cut the ignition wires and I think it blew the main fuse. I'm getting no power with the new ignition in the on position. Is the fuse I'm looking for on the starter relay right off the positive battery terminal? What size is it and can I get it at radio shack? The motorcycle shops are closed today.

Thanks guys

Follow the battery cable to the fuse box. You will find a 30a main fuse inline before the box. you can get it anywhere, it's just a standard fuse.

Are you talking about the fuse box under the small plastic door under the right handlebar on the fairing?

If thats where your fuse box is, then yes. I don't have an F3 to look at, but there is a 30a main fuse protecting the fuse box. Do you have a manual? A manual will show you the exact location of it.

Is it a blade fuse or the cylinder glass one?

If your main fuse have blown you will find it on the left side of your bike just below your seat and right above your fuel pump. You have to take the left tail fairing off, you will then see a rubber plug that you will need to pull apart to get access to the 30-amp fuse. Hope that helps you.

Is it pretty likely that more than one fuse is gonna be blown from their hot wireing job?

Probably not but it would'nt hurt to check them, luckily you will not have many to check like a car.
