Default Looking to purchase, what do you think?

Hello all, I am looking to purchase my first bike. I do not know a whole lot about these model year motorcycles, so Im looking for some advice. I am told it is a 1995 CBR600F3 with ~14k miles. Supposedly excellent running condition . Plastics obviously look like they've been replaced. Seller asking for $1000. All opinions and suggestions welcome.

its either an f2 with an f3 gauge cluster, or and f3 with f2 side/upper plastics on it.
if you go check it out look at the identification place to be sure.
either way $1000 is pretty good as long as its running.

1000 dollars with decent fairings is a real good deal.. even if the carbs had to be rebuilt.. your looking at 1200-1500 and you can sell this bike for close to 2000 but it does look a little different then my 98 honda f3..and also if you do buy this bike i have matte black fairings i could sell to you to make it match but they are for 98 im not sure if they will fit they should..

Go for it. These are solid machines and they will last forever. Just make sure it rides straight
