Default Looking for mods for new bike

I am deployed in afghanistan right now and I just bought a CBR F3 through a buddy of mine. The bike had been laid down but my buddy went and made sure that the frame wasnt bent and that their was no serious damage done to the bike just cosmetic. Well since I purchased the bike we havent done much since I am still overseas for another month or so but I am trying to get what parts I need prior to me returning home so we can hop right to it. Any ideas or help with websites would be really appreciated.

hi,
dont get a aftermarket fairing set, it will only cause you problems.

i think all it needs is a new upper fairing and light and a sand and paint and you are ready to go.

for me the if a cbr has been changes it just looks naff,
things you can change are
extaust,
filters
liquid change,
new screen
also you can put a bright headlight in so you can be seen.

Race tech rebound and compression gold valves. I would also look into doing it for the shock too.

if/when you do get new fairings i would be interested in the old uppers if you decide to not keep them, and if all the tabs are there.

I really appreciate all the advice from everyone. Please keep it coming dont forget I need web pages as well this is my first bike and not real familiar with aftermarket stuff. The fairings I am going to be keeping so that I can get them painted how I want the bike to look and the aftermarket kit is just a temp replacement until I get the ones on there done over the winter

And unless you are 5 foot nothing and only weigh 100lbs stiffer springs in the forks. The Racetech recommendations were about right for the road for me but still too soft for trackdays. Change the shock for a better one and the correct spring for your weight if you can. I can also recommend a stage 1 setup with K&N filter, free flow can and the Dynojet kit. This is the first bike that I can really tell the difference from the K&N filter but you may need the rejet for it to work. Also 1 tooth off front sprocket livens it up - maybe not so good if you want to tour on it.

Thank you for the replys so far. I have ordered my fender eliminator a new fairing kit and flush mounts so far. Still interested in the k&N filter system a website would be nice for that and a jet kit.
