Ok, you have an F3 which is a 3 wire turn signal/parking light setup. You're installing 2 wire signals. How are you handling the the change from 3 to 2 wires ? Are you using a relay ?

I know its not a safe thing to do intiractive, thats just the best advice i could give since im in the same situation (cuz i obv dont know how to fix it you know?)...
honestly though, no signals is better then breaking down at 80mph on the high way from a blown fuse... so sketchy... when it happened to me my gixxer friend was in front so he didnt see me, and i had a big as truck near me before i could pull off....

i know konamtbdjc. no hard feelings. just dont want someone on the road and an elderly person or someone on the phone bearing down on them and not "understanding" or "seeing" hand signals for a turn. its better to fix the issue before it becomes a REAL problem.

For either one of you, how do you have it wired up currently ? What I mean is what color wire from the signals is going to what color wire on the bike. You're probably going to have to go out there and look at it to know for sure.

Sorry for completely jacking your thread law dog, but I just got back inside from fixing my problem. As Dirt suggested, the wires were on the wrong colors... and before I went out side I randomly came across this thread

https://cbrforum.com/forum/showthrea...063#post900063

and if you look at what AgentRR said, he is correct.
I have not tried them out riding yet as its downpouring out right now, but Im confident its going to work Thanks guys/Dirt n check your wiring Lawdog..

ok here it is. Not only were the wires wired wrong from the guy I bought it from he also had the wrong type of bulb for what he tried to wire up. the front blinkers were wired together to have both running lights and blinkers, but the catch was that the bulb was only a single point contact , so you can only have one or the other. then after blowing through a grip of fuses I also found out that my newly bought aftermarket cat eye blinkers bulb was bad in one of them. So to see if i had wired everything up correctly i bought some simple aftermarket (cheep) blinkers and wired them up and waaahlaah everything is working great. the front blinkers that were wired incorrectly was the cause of my fuse blowing. thanks to ll that commented and gave suggestions. you guys are great.
