Default Leaking fuel lines

So do the fuel lines that go straight from the tank, through a T and then into the carbs have a LIFE? I will ride for a week then one of them will start leaking, ive changed out the honda clips to normal screw pipe clamps.

I just hate walking out in the morning and see a puddle of gas. Are there any tricks i should know about stupid rubber fuel lines to keep them from leaking?

Rubber does have a life. To many variables to mention that can cause it to age & deteriorate. Ethanol blend fuels will certainly cause rubber to degrade quickly.

your o-rings in your "t fitting" is probally shot!!!replace them and it should fix the problem. While your replacing, check and replace other fuel lines also. Some guys on here have pics of what they look like, just do a search on the t fitting.Hope this helps.

I went and changed out the two fuel lines going into the carbs. I know the gas was leaking from the point where it connects to the carbs, hopefully the inlet into the carbs that sorta swivels back and forth isnt shot.
